The Venus Trilogy

The Venus Trilogy is a thematic collection of three independent, standalone feature screenplays: PALMA, A Tale of Two Mothers, and The Singer or The Allure of Being a C*nt. The films are not sequels, nor do they share characters or interconnected storylines. Instead, they are united by a common exploration of womanhood and a single question: Who is a woman when she refuses to be defined by what others expect of her? Across three distinct narratives and genres, the trilogy examines the tension between female identity and the expectations imposed by love, motherhood, society, and the roles women are expected to fulfill.

In PALMA, a woman confronts the boundaries of love, desire, and the freedom to live on her own terms. In A Tale of Two Mothers, motherhood becomes a force capable of challenging morality and the very meaning of justice. In The Singer or The Allure of Being a C*nt, a larger-than-life singer must learn to navigate life outside the spotlight while confronting her own mortality. Each story explores what happens when a woman's private truth collides with the role she is expected to play.

The Venus Trilogy is not about perfect women, nor is it about making their choices acceptable. It is about granting them the complexity, contradictions, desires, and moral ambiguity traditionally afforded to men. Its heroines can be loving and selfish, courageous and vulnerable, compassionate and destructive. Above all, they are human, and their stories belong to them.

When declining health forces legendary singer Eileen, 72, to step away from the spotlight, a woman who has spent her entire life commanding audiences must confront the one thing she has always managed to avoid: herself. Stripped of the glamour, adoration, and carefully constructed persona that defined her existence, Eileen faces an uncertain future, the ghosts of her past, and a fractured family she has long kept at a distance.

At the heart of her journey is Alicia, her transgender daughter, whose complicated relationship with Eileen carries years of unresolved pain, love, and resentment. As mother and daughter struggle to reconnect, Eileen must reckon with the consequences of her choices, the fragility of her legacy, and the unsettling realization that fame cannot protect her from mortality. A story of identity, reconciliation, and the courage to face life beyond the applause, The Singer explores what remains of a woman when the world stops watching.

Two years after her daughter’s brutal murder remains unsolved, Anna Barros finds herself face-to-face with the man she believes is responsible. With the reluctant help of her closest friend, Janet Shepard, whose own daughter survived the same horrific attack, Anna secretly imprisons him in her basement, determined to extract the confession the justice system could never obtain.

But as their desperate search for the truth becomes an increasingly dangerous psychological battle, the two mothers find themselves confronting the limits of justice, faith, loyalty, and morality. For Anna, captivity becomes a means of avenging the daughter she lost. For Janet, every decision threatens the life she has fought to protect. Bound by a terrible secret, both women must confront how far a mother can go in the name of love, and what remains of her humanity when she crosses that line.

Genre: Drama / Psychological Thriller

Set against the sun-drenched beauty of Mallorca, PALMA is an erotic drama about love, desire, and the extraordinary connections that can transform our lives.

When Dan Mitchell, a celebrated American writer, is invited to spend the summer with Elle Aasen and Pierre Valet, a sophisticated married couple living on the Mediterranean island, an unexpected attraction blossoms into a passionate and unconventional relationship. What begins as a summer escape gradually becomes something far more profound, as the three discover a love that challenges traditional notions of intimacy, commitment, and belonging.

Within the idyllic world they create together, desire and creativity flourish, and the boundaries between friendship, romance, and devotion dissolve. Yet beneath the beauty of their extraordinary summer lies a more elusive truth: even the deepest love cannot fully reveal another person's inner world. Sensual, intimate, and emotionally complex, PALMA explores the freedom to love without possession, the fleeting nature of happiness, and the mysteries that remain within us, even when we give ourselves completely to another.

After discovering in the afterlife that her choices in 1886 set in motion a chain of tragedies that destroyed the lives of those she loved, Martha is offered an extraordinary opportunity: one final chance to return to Earth and make amends.

Reborn in present-day New York, she becomes an unlikely guide to two seemingly incompatible strangers: a gifted but struggling street musician searching for his place in the world, and a powerful, ruthless real-estate mogul whose success has come at the expense of everything she once held dear. Unaware that their destinies are intertwined with Martha’s past, both find themselves drawn into a journey that challenges their understanding of love, ambition, forgiveness, and the choices that define their lives.

As Martha struggles to bring them together and save a historic theater that holds the key to their shared history, she discovers that redemption demands far more than correcting the mistakes of the past. With time running out, she must confront the consequences of her own actions and the possibility that saving those she loves may require the ultimate sacrifice.

Blending supernatural drama, romance, and the enduring power of music, Children of the Second Hour explores how the choices we make can echo across generations, and whether love and forgiveness can transcend even death.

Genre: Drama / Romance

On a stormy evening in Manhattan, a food delivery man finds himself unexpectedly stranded inside the luxurious apartment of a wealthy, lonely woman. Coming from vastly different worlds, the two have little in common beyond the circumstances that have brought them together. Yet as the rain intensifies and the city outside comes to a standstill, an ordinary delivery turns into an unexpected encounter.

What begins as an awkward exchange gradually gives way to an intimate conversation, revealing the loneliness, disappointments, and unspoken desires hidden beneath their seemingly ordinary lives. As the night unfolds, both discover that genuine human connection can emerge in the most unlikely circumstances, challenging their assumptions about each other and themselves.

When the Rain Hit Us is an intimate short drama about loneliness, vulnerability, and the fleeting encounters that can leave a lasting mark on our lives. Sometimes, all it takes is a stranger and an unexpected storm to change the way we see the world.

Genre: Drama

In Los Angeles on a business trip, David, a gay man staying at a downtown hotel, survives a brutal attack by a mysterious figure dressed as a hotel maid. What initially appears to be an isolated act of violence soon reveals something far more sinister: a ruthless killer operating in plain sight, preying on those society has learned to overlook.

Far from home and unfamiliar with the city, David finds himself caught in a terrifying nightmare. Behind an unsettling mask and the deceptive familiarity of a maid’s uniform, the killer moves unnoticed through the streets of Downtown Los Angeles, exploiting the anonymity of a city where countless lives intersect without ever truly connecting.

As David struggles to understand what happened to him, he discovers a disturbing reality: the greatest danger may not be a killer who knows how to hide, but one whom nobody thinks to notice.

The Invisible One: The Maid Knocks at Night is an atmospheric slasher thriller that combines visceral horror with an exploration of isolation, vulnerability, and society’s indifference toward those living on its margins. The film also introduces The Maid, a terrifying new slasher villain with the potential to anchor a horror franchise.
